He's long, with great feet. He's valued very close to where we pick at #52 (2nd round) this year. He would give us another guy who can play OT or OG. Think Noteboom, but more aggressive. With just this addition and getting Noteboom and Allen back would give us quality depth across our Oline. We then have FIVE guys who can play OT----- Big Rob, Note, Edwards, Evans and Wirfs. And most can play OG too. As for the others, probably only Allen could not play OG. 1 by CanuckRightWinger 4 years 3 months ago Total posts: 2777 Joined: Jan 13 2016 VANCOUVER, BC Superstar 2020 Oline Draft Targets POST #2 I agree with safer that it makes good sense to go OLine early in this 2020 for Les Snead.I mean, on Offense we are loaded at WR, RB and TE right? So my advice to McSnead…."Draft OLine early AND often!" IF we re-sign Littleton, I'm ok with all of the young bucks we have at lber on our roster. I'd be willing to take a chance on that group. Our back 4 might be one of the top 5 units in the league. I am really high on Troy Hill as a true cover corner. We got lucky on that one. 1 by JackPMiller 4 years 2 months ago Total posts: 2729 Joined: Sep 22 2016 LA Coliseum Superstar 2020 Oline Draft Targets POST #4 We don't have a first round pick. As the Rams move into their brand spanking new multi-billion dollar 8'th wonder of the world stadium, and Kroenke's legacy to Los Angeles, ... Snead/Demoff & McVay will deliver the goods by shaking up the roster to begin a decade of dominance. Expect subtle changes to our defensive scheme, nothing likely radical. Big 10 and Notre Dame have a great track record.ACC and SEC are hit and miss. I'm weary at times of the guys coming out of powerhouses like Alabama and Clemson, as their skill players may make the OL look better than they really are. Still, these conferences have produced some good players.PAC 12 guys... generally pretty good. Stanford and UCLA in particular have been good pipelines.Big 12... NOOOOOOO!!!!! Biggest source of OL busts in my opinion.Small schools... tough. I like to see how they do in the Senior Bowl or East/West Shrine Game. by CanuckRightWinger 4 years 2 months ago Total posts: 2777 Joined: Jan 13 2016 VANCOUVER, BC Superstar 2020 Oline Draft Targets POST #6 Here's a coupla Bust OT Schools to avoid:Jason Smith of BAYLOR....2009 Billy Devaney and Steve SpagnuoloGreg Robinson of AUBURN...2014 Jeff Fisher and Les SneadHow could the Rams braintrust of two different regimes screwup TWO Second Overall Picks like that??????!!!!!! by safer 4 years 2 months ago Total posts: 1275 Joined: Feb 03 2016 LA Coliseum Pro Bowl 2020 Oline Draft Targets POST #7 TOPIC AUTHOR I dunno..ask the Chargers GM (Butler?) who drafted Ryan Leaf #2 by river 4 years 1 month ago Total posts: 111 Joined: May 04 2017 LA Coliseum Practice Squad 2020 Oline Draft Targets POST #8 2020 Sparq Results :https://3sigmaathlete.com/sparq-ranking ... ning-back/ by JackPMiller 4 years 4 weeks ago Total posts: 2729 Joined: Sep 22 2016 LA Coliseum Superstar 2020 Oline Draft Targets POST #9 If A'Shawn Robinson pans out, one player I really like is Logan Stenberg OG Kentucky. McVay will continue calling the offense, although hopefully O'Connell will have his ear with trying to maintain a more balanced game plan.Re-Sign :LT - Andrew WhitworthC - Austin BlytheK - Greg Zuerlein (1 year show-me contract)RFA - Morgan FoxERFA's John Kelly, Johnnie Mundt, Coleman Shelton, Jake GervaseAll current Practice Squad members.Free Agent acquisitions :DT/NT - A'Shawn RobinsonLOLB - Leonard FloydDeparting Free Agents :Cory LittletonDonte FowlerMichael BrockersMike ThomasBlake BortlesBryce HagerMarqui ChristianCuts :S - Eric Weddle RB - Todd GurleyWR - JoJo NatsonLOLB - Clay MatthewsOLB - Josh CarrawaySCB - Nickell Roby-ColemanDT - Tanzel SmartC - Jeremiah KoloneS - Dont'e Deayon2020 NFL Draft :2) #52 - DE James Lynch, Baylor3a) #84 - OT Lucas Niang, TCU3b) #104 - Compensation Pick - ILB Troy Dye, Or.4) #126 - RB AJ Dillon, B.C. 5) N/A6) #199 - WR Kadarius Toney, Fl7) #234 - OG Michael Onweno, Mi.I believe the Rams may be able to trade back our 2'nd round pick for a later 2'nd, then trade up in the 3'rd in order to secure both Lynch & Niang.Draft Class - $4.3 mil.2020 Rams 53 Roster :OFFENSE (25)QB :GoffWolfordOL :WhitworthHavensteinNoteboomNiang *Onweno *EdwardsEvansBrewerCorbettAllenRB's :HendersonMalcolm BrownAJ Dillon *TE's :HigbeeEverettMundtBlantonWR's :CooksWoodsKuppReynoldsWebsterToney *DEFENCE (25)DL :DonaldRobinson**Lynch *GainesJoseph-DayAny 2 of - Fox, Lawler or CopelandILB's :KiserDye *PatrickHowardOLB's :EbukamOkoronkwoFloyd**PoliteHollandCB's :RamseyLongHillWilliamsAlexander Safeties :JohnsonRappGervaseScottSpecial Teams (3) :HekkerZuerleinMcQuaidePractice Squad (10) :RB - KellyILB - ReederC - TrewynC - SheltonDE - Lawler or CopelandOG - DembyQB - Kellen Mond, Tx A&M (UDFA)S - Myles Dorn, UNC (UDFA)CB - Stanford Samuels III, Florida State (UDFA)OG/C - Sean Pollard, Clemson (UDFA)* Denotes drafted rookie** Denotes newly acquired Free AgentOL Depth (10)LT - Whitworth, Noteboom, Niang, Edwards, BrewerLG - Corbett, Edwards, Evans, OnwenoC - Blythe, Allen, CorbettRG - Brewer, Edwards, OnwenoRT - Havenstein, Evans, Niang, NoteboomDL Depth (7)3T - Donald, SJD, RobinsonNT - Robinson, Gaines, SJD5T - Lynch, Fox, Copeland, RobinsonOLB Depth (5)SLB - Floyd, Polite, Holland'Buck' RDE/ROLB - Ebukam, OBO, HollandThere are going to be some great battle challenges for players trying to make the final 53, one that has me particularly intrigued is going to be at 5T DE, can Fox hang onto his rotational role, or might Lawler returning from IR prove better, ... then there's the bigger upstart Practice Squad player Marquise Copeland who perhaps more physically fits the position of a 3-4 DE, so this and pretty much all the LB'er competition is going to be quite fun to watch play-out this pre-season.
