Watching the game on fox after a very long time and John smolz is one of the biggest yankee haters I’ve ever heard.

Not 5 mins into the game and he says...... well 20 other teams in the game have had the same injury problems as the Yankees. His partner tells him we are mlb leading IL team and he says well..... it’s still a good squad. Then says they’ve had a soft schedule.

Next inning: well dont expect their big name players to come back and perform well instantly. This team could go down.

Same inning: Boston has had a slow start but I have a feeling they are about to go on nice little winning stretch.

I loathe this guy. Honestly. Every time. He ruins the game experience for me. What did we do to him? Did Jeter bang his daughter or something?

You'd hate them too if you pitched on "the team of the 90's" that won 1 World Series (vs the freaking Cleveland Indians) and lost 2 to the Yankees....who by the way, won 3 titles in the 90's. :D Team of the 90's? Pftt!! You don't go 1-4 in World Series play and become the team of the decade! The Yankees were the team of the 90's....3 for 3 baby......and Smoltz will forever have a chapped ass over it.

In other news, if the Yankees can beat the Red Sox tonight and the Twins 2 run lead holds up over the Rays, this may be the most productive weekend of the season so far. Still no sign of Judge, Stanton, Severino and Betances. Take your time guys, and heal 100%. The fort is being held just fine.

I really like Clint Frazier. Even though he owns (and seems to love) Cats. But he cannot play beyond the 6th inning in the outfield.

Boy, the more things change, the more they stay the same.
When push comes to shove the Yankees fall back on “experience” over youth.
I hated the Morales pickup from the get go. But now I hate more and more each day. They send down Estrada and leave that piece of shit on the roster. Not only that, he plays every god damned day.
Makes me sick.

Morales homered in his third game with the Yankees. Since then he's 6 for 52 (.115) with 4 runs scored and 3 rbi in 16 games. That SUCKS!!! I'm with ya DB, Estrada should have stayed and Morales should have been given a ticket out of town. I can see their thinking. Estrada has the options available and Didi came back. Having said that, when Judge or Stanton return he'll be gone....unless he's got pictures of Brian Cashman in a compromising situation.....and if they had cut Morales, it would be Estrada going.

Yankees in a slump but at a fortuitous time. They're 5-5 in their last 10 but so are the Rays and Red Sox so it's a wash.

Stanton and Judge are still weeks away. Morales has to go now. Even without bringing anyone up (and using up an option) playing morales means a Maybin, Voit or Frazier are on the bench. Carry 14 pitchers if they want. Lord knows they need help there too.

Stanton hit two homers in a game yesterday. Boone said he and Judge could both be back in the lineup for the next homestand (Monday June 17th).

As far as pitching help they need to go get Bumgarner.

Not sure we’d be willing to give up what they will ask for Madbum. Urshela? The name fans throw out there is Frazier however I’m not sure an NL team will want an OF best suited for DH
