According to multiple sources, the Clippers and the city of Inglewood are closing in on entering an Exclusive Negotiating Agreement (ENA) on 22 acres of land between Prairie and Yukon Avenue south of Century Boulevard.

I'm trying to remember, does that include the strip plaza with all the fast food places up front and the bigger stores like Marshall's behind it?

Maybe he had it first, but it wasn't really surprising because a few months or so ago, there were reports/articles that Ballmer was looking to build an arena is the LA area for the Clippers. Inglewood was rumored and even speculation that it would be at the same site as the Rams stadium.

Beyond that, an Environmental Impact Report is required and various other state and local requirements would need to be satisfied in an anticipated 24-month process. That means the arena, which is expected to seat as many as 20,000, could open for the 2022-23 season.

The Clippers’ lease at Staples Center runs through 2024, although an early-release agreement could be reached between the Clippers and AEG, which owns the arena.

I can't exactly see AEG fighting too hard to keep the Clippers that last season or two since they already treat them like a red headed step child.
