Kurt Warner's HS QB Slovis looks good in first start for USC

True freshman Kedon Slovis put up 377 yards and 3 TD for USC against 23rd ranked Stanford. Kurt Warner was his QB coach and OC in high school. Not really sure how much Kurt can take credit for but it's cool to have a Rams connection while watching the Trojans.

Kurt's son Kade will be a Jr at Nebraska this season, he started the last few games of the 2019 season. He has put up lackluster performances thus far in his career ... very low receiving yards ... @ 100 yards per season ... no touchdowns ... his 40-time you ask? 4.89

I always thought that Public HS coaches had to be employed by the school either as a teacher or in the administration

This is probably a state-by-state thing.

For example, there is nothing in the U.S. Constitution that guarantees an education, however there are 50 State Constitutions that do.
