One nit to pick - 1080p is not 2K. There are no 2K TVs - I think this was only available in projectors, and since you were an owner of projectors this makes sense:

yes, i agree, hdr is quite cool, and especially cool if you have a panel that showcases it well, like an lg oled which i also have... unfortunately hdr projectors aren't there yet despite their claims, even hdr laser projectors, and it's hard to believe they will ever get there given hdr's dependency on screen brightness for the hdr "pop", projectors simply can't generate the same kind of brightness that panels can...

as far as current 4k, hdr, uhd, 2k terminology is concerned, it's all over the place, in fact "4k" is actually 4096x2160 or 3840x2160, with the latter being the most common flavor given the 16:9 aspect ratios of most displays... 2k is another example of the "loose" terminology as mentioned in this article:

"But now that "4K" has gained traction as a term used to describe TVs and content, "2K" is becoming increasingly common as shorthand for the 1080p resolution used by most HDTVs, as well as Blu-ray. It's not technically accurate, but that didn't stop "4K" from becoming more popular than "UHD."

https://www.cnet.com/news/4k-1080p-2k-u ... explained/

anyway, hdr (high dynamic range) is a real game changer, and even with the lower brightness of hdr projectors, can produce spectacular images - thing is, at the moment, there's not a lot of hdr content that shows off hdr capability to its fullest, not when compared to hdr demo vids that are specifically mastered to show off just how impressive hdr is / can be.

So I went by the stadium site tonight as my flight from LAX was delayed. It is damn impressive and absolutely mammoth. The Forum is totally dwarfed by the Sofi

Doesn't look nice enough. Looks exactly like the visitors locker room at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville: down to the carpet. Also a lot of teams put their logos in the ceiling: there's nothing shown there.

I know there's still finishes, but I'm expecting something nicer for the Rams. Maybe not Oregon Ducks crazy: but close to it.

Now I found it. The Jacksonville/London Jaguars have a pretty dope locker room.

This is the Vikings locker room at their stadium.

My hope if they aren't letting people into the Rams locker room because it would show the new colors and possible logo changes.
