A few quick notes, probably add more tomorrow:
2 Years since i've been to camp, wasn't even sure i wanted to go today, didn't think Stafford would play but i had prepaid for parking and the idea of burning that $15 wasn't sitting quite right. Really glad i went, forgot how much i like it.
I told phoenixrising i would call him when i got there so i'm in line waiting for the gates to open and figure, might as well give him a call. I hear a phone ringing near me but that could be anything, he answers, sounds kind of close by, turn around and he's literally the person standing directly behind me in line. We hung with bubba and vetram for a bit but then found good seats in the bleachers on the side where the 11 on 11 would be and ended up sitting there the whole time, had a great time hanging with phoenix.
We didn't know if Stafford would practice so all eyes were nervously on him as he continued to do one thing after another. I was obsessively trying to get a shot of his thumb like it was Gurley's knee. He just kept doing one thing after another and then next thing you know, he's in there with the 1's. Not to worry apparently.
He looked great. I know it's camp but on first blush he throws a better deep ball, throws into tighter windows and is more willing to throw the fast ball. He and Kupp really seem to have a good connection going already. With Kupp, Woods, Djax, Higbee and whoever else might emerge, it's potentially a very lethal offense. We all know how it goes, we have to wait and see what actually happens but still, exciting stuff.
Obo made a lot of plays. Maybe he's going to emerge this year. Didn't see TLew out there at all. Same with Whit, vets day off? I heard he was on Sirius' around camp which they did from Irvine today. Noteboom got the reps at LT.
I originally had Trishton Jackson figured as getting cut but have heard he's been making plays and they have him as a gunner on ST which is how Mike Thomas made the team for so many years, so not writing Jackson off just yet after all.

great stuff!
last week i noticed mundt and higbee on the field at the same time quite a bit, with mundt doing some interesting pass pro out of motion, did you notice if the 1s were running more 3+ wr sets or more 2 te sets?

First off, great pics! Much appreciated.
I assume when you say Stafford throws better, you mean better than Goff. Right?

Yes though some is more different that necesarrily better. Goff tends to throw with touch, Stafford more fastballs.
And again, not to say Goff doesn't have a fast ball or Stafford can't throw with touch, just what i saw yesterday at camp.
With Stafford's penchant for being aggressive and the addition of DJax, i think we're gonnna see an offense that attacks a lot more than the last two years. I know that's the conventional wisdom but i think it's right...
