Jeez, Stafford has never had a quality running back. He finally was going to have one. I like Henderson but he isn't reliable enough. Running back by committee I suppose.

I don’t know if Henderson can stay healthy to shoulder the load for 17 games. The others on the roster are unproven. I not sure what the issues were with Bell or Duke Johnson. It’s worth kicking the tires. You won’t see Henderson in any preseason action.

For an "outside the box" idea, I'd inquire about Marlon Mack. He's (ironically) coming off an achilles injury from last offseason, and he's been passed on the Colts depth chart by Jonathan Taylor. The Colts have some depth with Nyheim Hines, and Mack is in the final year of his rookie deal. Might be worth a call.
