The thing that's most interesting about this is he tore it working out on his own. Players are avoiding OTAs this year but if you get hurt on your own, you're not covered contract wise like you would be if you got hurt working out at the team's facilities...

It’s all in the contract. Players should be made aware of what’s in their contract. If not then they have bad representation.

Assuming they know what’s in their contract as they should, then they have no one to blame but themselves if they get hurt and aren’t financially protected.

You would think that with millions of bucks at stake you'd go get the free vaccine and head in to the facility to work out. Logic...wtf is that?!

The players have said this isn't about Covid as much as it's about changing how the off-season works.

They're gonna have to figure out the part where if you get hurt outside of team activities, you're contract doesn't apply or it's not gonna work...

Just a silly question...
The players who said it’s not about Covid, are they vaccinated?

The other thing is, you gotta figure some players have insurance, like Donald. He works out a ton away from the Rams, i'd imagine he has some kind of financial protection if he were to get hurt and lose money because of it....

It's not hard to imagine at all. As they say:

"You don't get what you deserve, you get what you negotiate".

If players wanted to change how the off season works they should have negotiated it into the CBA. Maybe they will re-think their approach, since the CBA will be in place for a long time.
