For all the talk about QBs moving, the 2021 QB carousel is starting to show more fizzle than sizzle.

The Texans spend weeks insisting that they would not move DeShaun Watson and, just as it seemed that they might be willing to talk, Watson's trade market dried up as he was hit with a dozen civil lawsuits (and counting). As of this moment, he's untradeable.

Russell Wilson has been a hot topic, but he remains a Seahawk. Again, despite some rumors and rumblings, it does not look like he's going anywhere.

Carson Wentz was moved, but does that move the needle for either the Colts (is Wentz better than Rivers?) or the Eagles (who will go with Jalen Hurts or a rookie)?

Sam Darnold is still a Jet.
Jimmy Garoppolo is still the 49ers' starter.
Dak Prescott is locked in to remain the Cowboys' starter.
The Broncos did not acquire a QB.
The Bears' big move was signing Andy Dalton.
The Dolphins are still riding with Tua.
David Carr is still the Raiders' starter.
Cam Newton is staying in New England.

The only team that has made a move that has, by clear consensus, resulted in a significant upgrade at the QB position is the Rams. So, while the Rams paid a big price, I'm feeling better and better about their quick and decisive move to address the position and bring in a guy who Sean McVay believes can take them to the next level.

Great Post Avenger. Gotta admit, at the time, Stafford was my "3rd" choice, behind "possibly available" Aaron Rodgers and Deshaun Watson. So glad how it turned out.....

While other teams are winding their seasons down the Rams are ramping up. A step ahead. Appear to be a prized destination again. If they only had more $$ (cap room)..

Good stuff. He's going to make a lot of plays but don't get down on him when he makes a boneheaded play. He will do that from time to time.....but don't they all? You can live with a few bad ones when your getting what he'll give McVay with regularity.

Once again,

Vid showing of Stafford not getting pressured up the middle....

With his outstanding Center and guard to give him room to step up in the pocket or to throw off his back foot with no pressure coming up the middle...

Need to address the Center position in the draft....

This crap news about letting Blythe to test the market first and him coming back is not what I'm hoping for...

Look how much quicker Stafford plants that back foot in the ground.

I really think Tremaine Anchrum is going to get a very long look at center.

KW Part two of Matt Stafford...

Now that Blythe signing with KC,,,,

I feel a lot better for the RAMs even if our center is in house,

the likes of Anchrum... and possibly drafting one in the draft....

I feel good about our center position, whether it's in-house or the draft. Stafford's presence will help immensely. But mainly because they let Blythe walk.
