Odds are that's just media rumorizing.

Rams don't have cap space.

Yeah, that's been out there since we got Stafford.

I concur with Avenger!

If McSnead could unload Jared Goff and all that Guaranteed Cap Hit.....
then creating some 2021 Cap Space via cuts, trades, and existing Contract restructuring will be child's play! ;) :arrow2: 8-)

Exactly, Cap manipulation seems to be pretty easy to achieve. The NFL provides lots of levers to pull to free up cap space. The Rams are one of those teams that know how to navigate those waters. This FO have been masters at maximizing the system to our benefit. Previous articles have speculated that the Rams can easily free up $50M and beyond by making some accounting adjustments. The money is there if the Rams truly want someone.

Personally, I don't see Marvin Jones signing with the RAMs...

This is not a position in need... at least not for a FA pickup...

VJ is in the same mold as Jones,

VJ is most likely a better route runner, younger and cost less...

If anything about getting a WR, it should be through the draft...

Someone with speed that can take the top off and spread the defense out...

If we need to sign a FA,,, the money should go into a power center like Alex Mack,,, and then sign our own FA players...

Then we have Trishton Jackson, there was a reason why he was on the 53 roster, and not once cut to the PS or even activated on game day the whole season, but was always kept on the roster... So we have him for depth and Nsimba Webster/PR/KR...

I think its a def possibility, he does give us that downfield threat and has the repiore with Stafford. It has to be a hometown deal for sure, but I like it. We could focus draft on o-line, lb and edge.

I've never seen him play. Going by draft site descriptions, the type of athlete he is, both physically and mentally, made him sound like a Van Jefferson clone.
