Yeah just saw that.....6th round pick in April, 2nd and 4th next year? That's a decent return, I guess....

So the Bears were all in on Russell Wilson and when the realization, he was just complaining hit, they settled for Andy Dalton. The Panthers were all in on Deshawn Watson and when the realization hit, "even if Houston will trade him, is he going to play this year", they opted for Sam Darnold. Bears still win the WTF move of the off season.

This is a good move for everybody. The Jets and Saleh get to go get their guy, The Panthers didn't give up that much for a talented QB and Darnold gets to get out of New York and gets a fresh start in Carolina.

Darnold is a local kid to me. Went to the same High School as my wife did ( San Clemente HIgh) plus his time with USC. Never thought he got a fair shake with the Jets because well...they are the Jets. Happy for him to try to restart his career and reach his potential.

EDIT: I guess it wasn't great for Teddy....
