thanks to tampa and the browns / steelers game, the wildcard weekend offensive scoring average was right about at the 2020 league average, 24.1 for the weekend, 23.9 for the 2020 season.

not surprisingly assessed penalties were ridiculously low, just 3.9 per team, something that will probably not be lost on staley as he preps his guys to go after rodgers, there's little doubt the packers oline will grab rams pass rushers as much as they can get away with, the packers ranked 9th in most offensive holding calls this season.

cleveland's numbers are interesting, and were of course helped tremendously by the steelers 5 whopping turnovers, in fact cleveland's average starting field position on their 13 drives was their own 40 yardline, ha ha...

speaking of enjoying a +5 in turnover game, it has happened 309 times during the super bowl era, with teams posting a 293-14-2 record and winning by an average score of 31-13.... since the 2000 season it has happened 111 times, with teams posting a 106-3-2 record and winning by an average score of 33-13.
