so should we start a weekly nfl confidence game / pool here at rfu? the rules are simple:

1. quote the post after this post, it will contain this week's games.
2. after quoting the post, add a number (1-14) next to the team that you think will win.

the numbers (1-14) represent your confidence in who you think will win the game, 1 = lowest confidence, 14 = highest confidence.... so, for example, for the rams / giants game you may very well want to put the number 14 next to the rams.

after you've assigned a number (1-14) to each team you think will win, guess the combined score of the monday night football (this will serve as a tie-breaker if needed)

this game ignores spreads, it's straight-up winners, spreads are included in the pick sheet simply to provide information!

I thought it was going to be confidence we continue to have a season.

I’ll give it a shot.

the idea is to get the most points....

so, for example, if i put max points (14) on the chiefs and they lose that's a big point loss, i'm 14 points in the hole.... if you're not sure a about a game give it lower points, if you feel strongly about a game give it higher points... of course getting a 5-year-old to randomly point at teams would probably work out ok too!

fwiw, getting all of the games right would net you a score of 105 (1+2+3+4+5, etc.).

I've played this kind of game before so I'll give it a shot.
