Some thoughts....

I think this game needs to be won by the defense. We got steam rolled last year. IMO the most disappointing loss, due to not really showing up in a big game. Defense must keep the cowboys in check, I could see our offense having to work off some rust ( I hope I am wrong).

I do want to see an offense that puts up 20+ points.

This one game will answer some questions, but lets not all overreact if this games isnt great. More than usual this game may not be reflective of the team we have....

I was listening to bill Simmons and to my surprise he’s picked us to be the no.1 seed out of the NFC. He has doubts about New Orleans. His reasons for picking us,

We went 9-7 last year, everyone acts like we went 3-13
We’ve mortgaged our future to be good this year.
We are stacked even though we don’t have the kind of depth we would want
Firing wade phillips was a great move because we now have a DC who actually has a pulse.
Schedule isn’t hard.

He picked Dallas as 2 seed.

Most others I’ve seen............... nobody has picked us even to be the top 3 in the NFC. Cowherd picked us no.10 in the league.
