Being a Rams homer I gotta think we win more than 9. But I get it. We had some issues last year. Several players had down years compared to previous years. We don't know what our offensive line will look like yet. We don't know how Gurley's health will be. We don't know if we'll lose two key defenders in Fowler and Littleton. 9 wins sounds fair. But I also think betting on over 9 is a good bet.

Wonder if they'll refund bets if the season gets shortened

well we won 9 games last year and now we have less talent. I am surprised it wasn't 8 wins. IMO I see the Rams winning somewhere between 7-10 wins.

Do we really? We have a pretty good QB. We have one of the best WR corps in the league. We have the best D lineman and probably the best DB. And we have a pretty good offensive play designer. I think we're being sold short a little bit when talking about talent.

I know. We lost guys.

Was Brockers one of the best 3-4 DEs? Was Littleton one of the best LBers? Was Fowler really that good? Weddle and Matthews were both on the down side of the hill. Seriously, I think we over-value the guys we lost.

But that's just MO.

You left off the part where I say between 7-10 wins. My macro view of the Rams (which is probably close to the rankings) says we won 9 games last year and IMO losing Fowler and Littleton, NRC and Brockers will make our defense weaker overall, despite adding Floyd and Robinson. On offense we added back our own guys on the line and but lost Gurley.
So I could see us winning the same or less games.

Now my fandom hopes the following:

- The new defense performs better with the new DC. The Rams pickup the new defense and are able to get pressure on the QB and force turnovers.

-The o-line gels and stays mostly injury free allowing McVay to run the type of game he wants to run.

-We have a very good draft that pays dividends in the 2020 season.

Now if some of these things happen above or close to, we get in the 10+ win range. Our division is brutal, so 10 wins is a big accomplishment.

No I didn't miss that part. Why cap it at 10? Previous to 2019 we won 11 and 13.
