Truly a tragedy.

I was never a Kobe fan. As a Miami Heat fan, I was naturally on "Team Shaq." But, man... I respected his game, his competitive nature, his work ethic and his leadership. When I think of sports figures that I "loved to hate," and, after they retired, really appreciated, I think of Roger Staubach and Kobe.

RIP

Layers of this story are just sad and devastating. 3 young kids were on that chopper, bunch of young parents.

Just a tragedy.

Seriously?
Hint: Do a word count of the word "I" vs the word "Kobe"

I thought this game would start the healing process. But it seems like the wound is too deep.

I'm glad. The Lakers need to heal.
But then they need to suck it up and go 'Mamba Mode' collectively from here on out....
