a look at goff and pass pro @ arizona... really liked the pass to gurley, it was a well designed play (not a dumpoff as some seemed to think), also liked the way that mcvay moved goff around a lot during the game, lots of rollouts and bootlegs... also, imo evans isn't ready for prime-time at right tackle, havenstein is clearly a better right tackle.



also, gurley's 28-yard td run late in the 3rd quarter that was called back due to a pretty weak holding call on edwards, it was edwards' third offensive holding of the game:

That looked like the Rams. Goff, our run game, D, all of them were killing a team that almost beat the 49ers twice.

The difference between the D AZ deployed compared to those who deploy the dreaded 6-1 hopefully give McV and the players some new perspective.

I’ll say this about Evans.

He didn’t. I give him props for that.

Maybe the time off will cure whatever has been ailing Hav all year, cuz he has been awful so far. Sure could use a return to last year’s form, if he can play this week.

geesh, well thank goodness for that, i mean demby is a pretty low bar, a 6th rounder (192nd pick) who has been waived by two teams, who has spent time on the practice squad - evans on the other hand is a 3rd rounder (97th pick) who the rams thought of highly... actually i thought evans would get the nod over 5th rounder edwards when noteboom went down, but edwards got the nod instead, apparently he was farther along than evans and/or had proven to be more versatile... anyway, it would be nice to see evans play with a bit more energy and urgency, and bit more violence.

I get a kick out of the narrative from some people. When the Rams beat them it "Well, its the Cardinals. They suck".

When the 49ers barely hang on its "49ers are a resilient group beating a Cards team that is better than their record."

ha ha, ain't that the truth... even some here at rfu, last week the cards were tough, a team that played good teams close including the ravens and the niners twice, far from a pushover, the rams will have their hands full, and could even come up short... flash to this week: let's wait until the rams face a real team before getting excited.

Watching the vid I sure didnt see any issues with Evans.
