This Saturday with Colin Kaepernick is holding a workout for NFL teams. Weird that a workout comes on the heels of a travel day for most teams and final preparations for Sunday’s games. Makes about as much sense as signing Tyler Higbee to a huge contract for 3-4 touches a game SMH.

Wonder is he’s fattened up enough to play tackle or guard ;)

I doubt any will. It’s the worst kinda PR stunt because it’s paper thin transparent IMO

Like I said in another thread: is this a PR stunt or is to protect a team that is truly interested?

Definitley feels like the NFL giving itself some plausible deniability, doing their due diligence. If you believe Mike Silver the NFL sprung this on CK and these are less than ideal circumstances for him:

But we'll see. Maybe someone wants to sign him though that seems unlikely...

Are there any teams in left leaning cities/states that need a quarterback like Kaepernick?

Maybe the league is telling some teams they need to sign him? Some people thought the league forced Michael Sam on the Rams. Don't know if it just speculation. I wonder how many teams would be interested in Kapernick if he promised to keep his protests away from the field?

CYA. Not 'see ya'. This "help" to get CK a gig could just the cover the NFL needs to avoid a future discrimination suit or similar grievance by the Kaperdink contingent.

Paulsen ought to do his homework seeing how the Colts allowed the eternally awful Brian Hoyer to play and not the "young guy" Chad Kelly. Fact is, most of the young guys have no chance of ever being a starter.
I could see Denver or Carolina giving him a shot
