For those who were not around last year, each week I will post a piece of a photo of a previous match-up between the Rams and their opponent and ask some trivia questions based on the photo.

This is an exhibition, not a competition so, as usual, no wagering.

Here's Week 1's crop:

1. What was the year and score of this Rams/Panthers matchup?

2. The game was close, which was surprising giving the teams' respective records. In fact, the next season, the Panthers had the second overall pick in the draft. How many games did the one team that picked ahead of them win to gain the first pick?

3. The Ram in the photo had a career game, but it was still, in a sense, incomplete. Why do I say that?

4. If this game was an indication of efficiency, perhaps the Rams should not have later hired the Panther who played a prominent role in this game. And, of course, I'm speaking of...

5. In the photo, you'll see a product that was popular with NFL players at the time (not so much anymore). That product shares the same initials as a former Rams 1st round draft pick. Name the product and the player.

4-i believe that mark fields for the panthers a linebacker that later played for the rams. i was at this game live it was a really good game . faulk was amazing
