Have there been any successful Asian Americans playing in the NFL? I have a feeling this kid is going to be a good one. A nose for the football. Good instincts. Faster in pads than his 40 time would indicate. Because there are so many good players ahead of him, this season will likely be a learning season. But he should be a big part of the defense by next year.

Dat Nguyen, MLB for the Cowboys was a really good player but injuries got the better of him.

For whatever it's worth, Taylor is HALF Asian. Another very successful half Asian player is Hines Ward.

Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn't Roman Gabriel of Asian decent?

I also think USC’s Johnnie Morton mother was Japanese
