My plan to use Week 1 to lull the rest of you into a false sense of security worked perfectly!

would have been a tough pill to swallow had he been the difference between a week 1 win or loss, but fortunately my other guys rolled... of course come week 10 pretty much all of my roster will be on their bye week, ha ha...

Baby, Rams bye is Week 9.

That’s the week almost all my teams have no players.

In my other league we have a League Constitution that lays out all the details of how waivers works. I'm guessing this league has something like that, I just don't know where it is.

Oh, well. I'm new here. I expected to get the rookie treatment. But I'm not carrying anyones helmet or getting coffee for anyone. :D

The INITIAL waiver wire order is based on the reverse of the draft order. Therefore, you would have been last one the waiver wire priority since you had the first overall draft pick.

Right after the draft, ALL players hit the waiver which I believe is a two day period. Therefore, you could have claimed anyone you wanted assuming no one else with a higher priority claimed the same player.

After the initial waiver period is over, EVERYONE is a FA. Therefore, whoever pulls the trigger first, gets the player. Unless of course it's a player that's been dropped by a team then that player will be on the waiver for the 2 day period.

Your current waiver priority is listed next to your team in the league standing table.

Once you have used your waiver priority, you go back to being the last on the waiver priority.

I understand some leagues have it set that you are not able to pick up any FA's between a certain days of the week, we don't have that setting in place currently.

Hopefully this clears it up.

I get all that.

What I didn’t get is WHEN.

When do waiver happen?
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday?
And at what time?

I have no freaking idea. You didn’t say.

He stated EVERYONE is a FA. In other words, there are no weekly waivers. Everyone not on a roster is a FA (like the NFL) capable of being added to your roster at anytime during the week...even while games on going on as there's no game time lock, either, for the FA pool. It's total first come, first serve 7 days a week. Somewhat unusual, but not hard to discern on the league pages.

If a team cuts a player or drops one to pick up a FA, then they hit waivers (like the NFL) for 2 days and that's where claims and order come into play. You'll see a W and date in the Owner column for those players instead of FA.
