7 QBs?
Here ya go...
Brady
Rodgers
Brees
Mahomes
Wilson
Luck (now that he’s healthy again)
Rivers
Obviously, you will now play the stat game which ignores a lot of context. Have fun.
But there’s not a single HC in the NFL that would have rather had Goff the past 2 years than one of those 7 guys.
geesh, finally....
i think that's a respectable list, however why does rivers get so much love? at 38 you think he could come in this season and play better than goff has or will? despite having talent around him, rivers has taken the bolts to just 2 postseason in the last 9 years.
luck? i thought the guy was well on his way to being a top 3 qb for the next decade after his first 3 years in the league, hell after his first 2 years in the league, but he's dropped off a lot imo, has been very inconsistent... talking heads love teams and qbs that finish strong (see niners/ garoppolo) after bad starts, probably because they think it carries over to the next season (which it usually doesn't, see niners/garoppolo), and tend to overrate teams and qbs when that happens, forgetting the lousy start, and i think that's what's happened in luck's case for 2018, every one loves him because of his strong finish... however in the postseason he was back to inconsistent, and laid a huge egg against one of the league's worst defenses.
anyway, so you would pick 7 guys? that would put goff at 8? how many tier 1 qbs did sando's group come up with?
speaking of sando, i take it you find his stuff of value, meaningful? if so, do you agree that bradford was clearly a 28th out of 33 caliber qb headed into the 2016 season as sando's nfl experts determined?
