I'll be honest, the gradient bothers me a lot less than the plastic look. I've seen a few knock off's (at least I think they're knock offs as I have an official on order which hasn't shipped yet and isn't slatted to until Sept) and they do not look good. Especially the Bone jerseys. Those look like outright trash. I REALLY hope there is a BIG difference between the official gear and the knock off stuff. I've seen one or two things between secondary market uni's and official stuff that makes a world of difference. A blue that looks more purple, a shiner material, etc. Keeping my fingers crossed, but not going to delude myself about it. I really hope they have something special for the kits coming next year and the year after.

The shots of the players in uniform look pretty good to me.

I never had a problem with the darker helmet color or that it didn't match. So, I haven't been all that anxious for them to change it. So, the one positive from all of this, the colors, just doesn't move the needle much for me, if at all. Of course, I'm referring to the colors of the Ferragamos. Which I think has been a bit of a source of confusion because when the brass have talked about making the change, it is my impression that their comparisons were based on the horrible, official uniform and colors.

So yes, compared to those monstrosities, they deserve credit for restoring the actual colors but I've just never been motivated to credit them when they're the one's who screwed them up.

My hope is that I will love how the new uniforms look if they ever play any games. My expectation is that I've hated what I've seen so far, so much, that that will be unlikely to impossible.
