Meet our new, most versatile D player--Taylor Rapp.
I'd bet money we use him in a lot of our sub packages, and maybe even more, much like we did Mark Barron. We have that luxury with Weddle and Johnson at safety.
I hadn't really thought about their similarities until after the draft.
I think most of us envisioned him as a safety to take over when Weddle retires ( which could easily happen) but I'd bet Wade is looking at different ways to play him closer to the LOS this year.

I think he is a very similar player to Barron (what Barron used to be). I don't expect the Rams to use him like Barron, but who knows? I'd like to think the Rams will shore up the run defense on early downs.
