of the top three guys who had the most carries for each team in 2018, here's the % of carries they accounted for... looking at the rams, gurley is 4th on the list at 74.9%, even tho he sat out two games, i.e. his % would have been even higher had he played the entire season.

seems that the rams are interested in lowering this load, perhaps to the point of divvying up the work in the same manner as the pats. saints, etc., in the mid 50% range in terms of the following chart:
