Av's Rams Draft Board (Version 2.0) - Post FA First Wave

Now that the first-tier FA frenzy is subsiding, I think we have a somewhat clearer picture of the Rams' needs. As a result, a shuffling of the draft board is in order.

With Weddle in the fold, the need for a FS is greatly diminished. Conversely, with the departure of Saffold and Sullivan, OL is a higher priority.

DL and EDGE remain key spots, as does ILB, to an extent.

Here's my current Top 40:

1. Quinnen Williams, DL, Alabama
2. Nick Bosa, DL, Ohio State

4. Josh Allen, EDGE, Kentucky
5. Rashan Gary, DE, Michigan
6. Clelin Ferrell, EDGE, Clemson

On my board, I place the "trade line" at #22. If my top 22 guys are gone at #31, I'd be looking for a trade-back opportunity. If any of my top 22 guys is still on the board, I'd want a really lopsided deal before I'd agree to move down.

If I understand AV's new Big Board assumptions correctly, then I think Los Ramos may luck into one of AV's Top 22 candidates.....BECAUSE....

I predicted last month (I think) on AV's original Big Board (of Rams needs candidates) that there would be EIGHT non-needs (QBs, WRs, TEs, RBs, FS's) selected before Los Ramos at #31.

Now with FS off of the "needs-list" and onto Non-needs list, I predict NINE non-needs get picked #1 thru #30......so, if my math is right, there is now a better chance for Snead & Co. to land one of the Top 22 Gems at #31 n'est-ce pas?

Also....should we consider moving ILB to the "non-need" list, now that we have signed former Green Bay castoff, Clay FabioHair Mathews? :?2:

Its not a primary need, but if Devin White (no chance) or Devin Bush (outside chance) were to fall to #31, I'd make an exception.

My #39 prospect, Johnathan Abram, just had a visit with the Rams. He could be a nice 3rd round option to provide depth/a future starter behind Weddle.
