2019 season seat invoices are available - prices went up compared to 2016-18

I just received my 2019 renewal invoice and noticed a price increase. We only have 8 home games - 1 preseason and 7 regular season games so even though the total price was $25 less than last year we are playing one fewer game. I called the Rams for clarification on the pricing since I split the season with friends but they couldn't give me any breakdown on the games. I guess we will have to wait and see what the printed tickets show for the individual prices. Btw, early renewal deadline is Apr 1 and final renewal is May 3.

I just renewed mine as well. Even though I was tempted to skip this year now that I have the new stadium seats. But hard to go through the years of renovation and such and not see the finished product. I am optimistic that what they are doing is really going to help the stadium experience. Should help with home field advantage too. Think the new hard cap is like 75K fans now rather than a kind of soft one. Normally it would always be opposing teams that would snatch up the god awful seats. The WiFi is suppose to help with phone signals as well as I never could get a signal there. Was frustrating trying to link up with people.
Anyway, I didn't notice much of a change on mine but didn't think of one less preseason. Haha, good job on their part. Still not much of a change. Don't think that will be a deal breaker for anyone.

Price is down slightly overall but per game it's up, for me anyway...

I had to relocate seats again this year because they added an aisle right though the seats I had last season. I got the invoice on my email account that I use for the Rams. I also got an email in an separate email account that Season Tickets for 2019 are now available for the general public. I would hope that everyone that had to relocate because of the extra aisles got a chance to do so before the general public picks seats. Also, regarding wifi, I think that every stadium blocks cell phone reception to a degree during the games. I noticed that an hour before the game and as soon as the game ends the cell phone reception works perfect(at least with Verizon). Also, I have attended Packer games in Green Bay the past few years and its the same there as well. Not good reception during the games, but great right before and after. The wifi will probably allow us to access the internet better during games, but they might still block the cell data.

As for cell phone reception I believe it is more of a load issue than the NFL blocking it. Pretty sure that would be illegal just like jammers are. Imagine a pipe designed for 100K cables. Now you try to add an additional 75K cables, all at once, that pipe gets clogged and barely moves. For huge events ie., playoffs, Super Bowl. Cellular providers will bring in mobile COLT's (Cell on light trucks) to help with the load. They will also pre stage them for natural disasters. As I googled it they also now deploy COWs (Cell on wings) via drones for disaster areas. Hard to invest in the infrastructure when it is a once in while event like football games. The Wifi should help.

This is what i thought too, just too many people trying to use the same connection at the same time...

I believe you guys are right. I was just thinking that the NFL wouldn't want people to live stream the games from their phones so they were taking measures to prevent it.

I posted this in the Coliseum renovation thread, but for those interested here is a new USC Version of the virtual venue. Like the other one, you can click a section and pan around. You can see the new aisles and also the seat views from the Scholarship Tower.

I have to dig too far back to see the cost comparison to last year. But... too me it seems EXACTLY the same.
