Tuff decision for the Rams.

CJ is a much better ball carrier and edge over Brown is that he knows how to leverage contact to his advantage much better than Brown does.

Brown isn't afraid of contact and is a bull in his own rights.... a little faster than CJ I think ... but in my book Brown has the EDGE because he has ability to block way better than CJ can.

I want a guy that can protect the passer AND wear the defense down.

So...did the Rams tender Brown because they prefer him over CJ, or were they trying to save $?

Guess we’ll know soon.

Hedging bet for draft pick compensation?? Setting the market value/price for whoever they decide to offer/sign? We will see, like you said. And, there are still other vet F/A options out there.

EDIT - no draft pick if the Rams let Brown go. Wonder what Motown offered?

Gotta believe CJ would demand more than that, so if the Rams don’t value him more than Brown, we should just match.
