I agree but we only used on 6th round on Kelly, is job is definitely not safe either.

I'm not sure that's right, as i recall until he got hurt Davis was ahead of Kelly...

Also, it was pretty clear last year Kelly wasn't ready for any kind of role at RB which is one of the reasons they went out and signed CJ.

How that bodes for Kelly's future with the Rams, i have no idea...

CJ was heavy and in as much as he did well for us during his short stint, a lot of other teams didnt feel he was worth suiting up.
And the Rams haven't made him an offer.
Where there's smoke, something must be up...

What I take from this is that the Rams feel confident that Gurley is sound. Because if he were not, then Anderson would be a priority.

I'd have to consider another RB if Gurley's health was a significant question mark..
Still I can see this as a good sign re TGII as well.

Re backup, CJ looked good in our offense, but so did Brown in his limited use.

Tough call but for the money, Brown fits nicely.
