Who is making an effort to do that?

Snead: “With all NFL players when it comes to trying to be fresh at the end of the year, there is an element of probably shades of gray of how fresh you are and what that reason is,” Snead said. “So I would counter your, ‘It’s either a yes or a no.’ I’m not sure you’ve ever gone through a 16-game NFL season, but if you have you probably would understand that shade of gray.”

Ramswire-crap
It’s hard to blame Snead for avoiding the questions because of the additional concerns that would come if he admitted Gurley has arthritis

Such pathetic journalism. I swear, folks will be disappointed if his knee isn't injured. What kind of f$%ed up thinking is that?

I'm still wondering about Goff's troubles in Detroit, Chicago and vs the Eagles. He can't read defenses? He can't play in cold weather? He can't perform against top tier teams? Until the Rams say something either way (confirm or deny), it should be considered fact.

Man are we in trouble or what? A lame running back and a second tier QB.

It’s a good thing we have a Pro Bowl long snapper.

I personally think Brown would have fared as well as CJ, or damn close. I might be the only guy who likes Kelley. Go back and watch him at Tennessee. The dude can play. He just needs to get better at everything at the pro level. I believe he will, and markedly - bigger, stronger, faster, better at pass pro, better at setting up his blocks and reading defensive flow.

That said, Gurley has become a little bit of an enigma for me. I hope he can thrive with reduced carries in the regular season and be truly fresh, healthy, and ready to go come playoffs. And the playoffs are going to be harder to make this season, I believe.

you know if it weren't for you, everyone would forget that Goff actually played well against Detroit, Chicago, and New England.

But you go too far when you make up this goofy strawman schtick by acting like someone said he could not play well against top tier teams. No one is saying that, but if you get off on strawmen, you get off on strawmen. Though sometimes a strawman buzz can go too far.

These are the top 10 defenses/winning teams Goff played well against, and everyone knows it: Chargers, Vikings, Dallas. He also played well in 4 combined games against the Saints and Seattle, playoff teams who were no slouches.

Brady had 5 subpar games in his 3rd year. Goff, YES EVEN GOFF (!) had a few in his third year too. (I know, it can't be said though. Hush. Shh. Or, someone will flame you on a message board... :o .... heaven forbid....)

Anyway, I expect him to have fewer games like that as time goes by.

As for Gurley, no there's no condition he has to manage. Every elite back gets severe wear and tear issues after the 1st game and then is sidelined by pain and inflammation in the same knee later in the same season. Nothing to see here. Move along. Yours sincerely, the Ministry of Rams Truth.

I feel pretty much the same way. I want to see the dynamic Gurley in the playoffs next time.

Since we don;t know what the issue is, it's hard to guess about that. Maybe 2019 will be the same as 2018. Or maybe it will be like 2017.

I think I see the problem...

The label says “take 2 pills daily.”

DAILY

You’ve obviously missed a couple of doses.

For a guy who trolls as much as you do, I suggest you learn what a straw man actually is.

My only hope at this point is that the Rams are using these reports to their advantage. Just letting everyone think that Gurley is damaged goods and will use that to their advantage for a game or two until he shows them that all is well.

My gut is that there is way too much smoke for their not to be a fire of some kind. Gurley's relative disappearance from a Super Bowl run is still inexplicable to me even though an explanation has been offered by McVay. I wish I was as comfortable that it's no big deal but Gurley(and Goff) have me really wondering about next year. I'm preparing myself for a step back season.
