Things might have gone better if he just stuck around here.

Matt LaFleur knows he has a great opportunity as head coach of the Green Bay Packers. However, LaFleur also knows that if things don't go well, he could be seen the door before he even opens it.

Those around the team are hoping that LaFleur will provide some desperately needed energy to the Packers, and will help push and revitalize Rodgers.
However, the Packers apparently weren’t willing to cede too much control to the first-time head coach. Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel writes that LaFleur “wasn’t the sole decision-maker” when it came to filling out his coaching staff.
