I saw this. Mentioned names like Malik jackson, Bradley Roby, Clay Matthews and Suggs with the Rams. On bargain deals.

Also had Fowler getting a big deal, which the Rams wouldn't match.

Malik jackson was with Wade in Denver in 2015 when they won the super bowl. Wade was the first to use him as a full time starter. He was a DE for Wade though he was a DT in Jax. Gets sacks, 6-8 a year.

They mentions him (Fowler) getting a 70 million dollar deal which I find absurd. But teams may still believe in the P word. Potential. Obviously rams wouldn’t be in that neiborhood. All about guaranteed money and cap. 6-7 million a year cap hit. He could get more than that.

The basic idea that the Rams get a veteran edge rusher isn't new and I fully expect them to.
I think they sign Fowler and get a vet on a cheap deal for the other side and avoid, this year, drafting one in the first or second rounds.

There are other Rams moves suggested including trading Peters for a third rounder and signing Bradley Robey to a one year 10 million deal.

I'd like to keep Fowler even over Suggs, but that might cost too much. Need someone disruptive and keep in mind we don't even know what we already have in Obo, Lawler, and Young. And, we have a developing Ebukam, known quantity in Longacre.

If we lose Fowler and don't get a vet rush OLB, I could see us drafting one in the first or in the second after a trade down.

I see this offseason as going after every level of the D, O-line (especially if Sully, Saff, and Whit are out, much less a priority if they all are back), perhaps TE.

I agree. The way they go in the draft, as far as pass rush OLB, has everything to do with what they think of Obo, Ebukam and the others. It certainly looks like they should be looking at every level of the D. On the O line, I think they could have a couple of gems in Noteboom and Allen, especially with the ability of Kromer to teach them. I could see them drafting an OL in the 4th or 5th (to join Demby) for depth.

Malik Jackson? Is he a 3-4 DE (in Wade's system) or a 4-3 DT (in Del Rio's D or like in Jax the last 3 years)? He's in the middle of a 90 mil 6 year contract that's scheduled to pay him 13.5 mil in 2019. Before Wade got to Denver, DelRio used him as a 4-3 DE, starting him 8 times in 2013 & 14, getting 9 sacks from him. He got 14.5 sacks in Jax in 2016 & 17 starting 32 games as a 4-3 DT but only started 10 last year (3.5 sacks).
