I don’t know if I’d get much sleep either with Veronika Khomyn on my atm.

Troy Hill, Marqui Christian change jersey numbers for 2019

By: Cameron DaSilva | 10 minutes ago

The Los Angeles Rams have yet to hand out jersey numbers to their incoming rookies, but a pair of veterans have changed which numbers they’ll wear in 2019. According to the team’s official website, Troy Hill will now wear No. 20, while Marqui Christian’s new number is 26.

As you know, Lamarcus Joyner left in free agency and Mark Barron was released by the Rams, opening up those two jersey numbers for Hill and Christian, respectively.

Hill previously wore No. 32, but when Eric Weddle was signed, the former Ravens safety got his usual jersey number from Hill. Christian has worn No. 41 his entire time with the Rams.

Here’s a look at Hill in his new uniform number.

Neither Hill nor Christian are guaranteed to be on the roster next season, given the depth the Rams added in the secondary. David Long could bump Hill off the 53-man roster, while Taylor Rapp could take Christian’s spot as the No. 3 safety.

I'm not sure what the rookies are making in year one. Hill's salary for this season is 2 million. I gotta think Long's is less. Christian's is only $720K. Doesn't sound like much if they're looking at salaries. If Countess was cut because he wouldn't take less than the 2 mil he was scheduled for, I gotta wonder what Hill's future is with the Rams. Especially if Long does well in camp. I gotta think they will give Rapp every opportunity to move ahead of Christian on the depth chart.

Maybe he was referring to the typical wife/girlfriend. It can be hard to sleep knowing they have that card in their hands. :shock2:
