Leaving the Rams with about $11.5 mil in cap space...

That's a far cry from the initially reported figure of up to $10M with incentives. And nothing (void money) pushed to next year. Actually, a pretty damn good bargain.

I still think Rams are done spending except for bargain basement acquisitions.

Yep which really sounds about right, I figured it was coming down with the risk and all.

The draft picks should be a net cost of ~4.5 mill so we will around ~7 million. The Rams def want some roster flexibility during the season, but do have enough to sign a cheap vet. Anyway they sign you still deduct the 795k roster spot.

Right? Jimmy G. $12 mil, White $10 mil, you really gotta wait for the contract to hit the league office.

I know everyone already knows this but the first numbers we hear almost always come from the agent so they're gonna be best case scenario numbers and not give us any idea what the actual cap hit will be.

I forgot to account for a contract getting knocked out of top 51 ($915k) so current cap space is a little under $12.5 mil.

You'd think they're done, at least till after the draft but then again it is the Rams...

That's great and about what it should be with his recent injuries. We could still sign a level 2 UFA after the draft. These guys are good and certainly not fools. That 8 mil to 10 mil figure had me worried. All for naught.

I've seen reports saying it's an incentive loaded contract and if he plays 60% of defensive snaps this year, it goes up.

Tre'Davious White Cap Hit

White signed just a one-year deal with the Rams worth $4.25 million. 3.25 million is guaranteed, including a $1.75 million signing bonus. White's cap hit for this season will be just $3.485M. His base salary is just $1.5 million.

White can also earn more money depending on his playtime incentives. The contract value increases to $8.5 million if White plays in 60% of the Rams defensive snaps in 2024, and there are up to $1 million in per-game bonuses.
