Yeah, that would be counter productive. What network is going to advertise, "check out the NFL predictions by __________. Last season __________ got 6 of 14 playoff teams correct and his/her SB teams were both eliminated in the Wild Card round!!"

She’s on TV because she has a gimmick. A girl who is good at math. The old perception that math is a mans domain sounds silly nowadays, but just check the percentage of math books written by women. And this comes from a guy whose daughter is a math teacher.

Problem is predicting football games is more art than science. There are way too many random variables that determine who wins a football game. You can’t get that from some pumped up model, I don’t care if it’s a guy or a girl running it.

Well, last year she had the Eagles and Cowboys at over 9 wins and WFT in last place. She had the Vikings winning the north with the Packers at 8.8 wins. She had the Seahawks in 3rd with the Rams in last. She had the Bucs at 8.8 wins. She had the Jets ahead of the Dolphins. Sure seems like she gets more wrong than right.

Those who don't learn from their mistakes are doomed to repeat them!!

If gamblers could use next gen stats to predict wins they'd never lose.

On the other hand if they were any good they could tout their success comparing them to others, even on other networks.

Most of them aren't any good at it. That is why they won't show their past projections. What they do during the offseason is just fodder for discussion. And keeps them employed.
