My prediction:

Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson will have more combined yards rushing than Todd Gurley and whomever is the #2 back in Atlanta.

I think he's already showed his true colors in all of this. His knee is well enough to play but his attitude clashed with McVay's.

Gurley will have a big year for Atlanta.

Rams News: LA to Receive $5.5 million in Cap Space on Tuesday After Todd Gurley Release
By Daniel Palma
June 1, 2020

When the team released Gurley back in March, he wasted no time in announcing he was going home to play for the Atlanta Falcons. But that signing cannot be made official until after June 1st, which was the date the cut was back scheduled for to lessen the cap hit. Come Tuesday, the Rams will finally receive the cap space that they intended to receive with Todd Gurley’s release, and it’s a pretty significant number.

The team is currently sitting at $569,000 in cap space, but come Tuesday the number will grow to over $6 million. The team’s rookie class remains largely unsigned, and this will be the first order of business with the incoming cash flow. It is also possible that the team signs some more veteran help after a major roster overhaul from last season. There are still plenty of impact free agents available should the team feel they need upgrades, but what’s important is that they now have a choice.

Some fans were disappointed when the team released Gurley, but the financial impact was clear. With multiple young players that will soon need extensions, it was simply finding the odd man out. Gurley’s injury history made the decision simple for the team, and we’re about to find out what they do with the money they saved.

Has Gurley passed his physical already with the Falcons?

....because I remember reading that if Gurley didn't pass his physical with Atlanta.....that there would be no kickback Salary Cap money for Los Ramos.

Anybody out there familiar with this legal territory? :?2:

Plus when do the Falcons have to sign him? Isn't it soon? Or has the pandemic thrown that calendar out the window?

He can’t run and cut anymore.

He sucks now.

It's very possible Gurley's best days are behind him
