If he's not the guy we're basically screwed. They have to stick with him. They invested picks and now a big contract. Its not like they can dump him and start over. What is out there that could be a better option?

Its now proven that you cannot just plug in any QB in the McVay system and make it work. That was the perception before this season. They have no choice but to try and fix him. Only time will tell if they can. We have a lot of uncertainty going forward.

When Jared Goff has protection, he can be great....witness Minnesota and KC games last regular season and then against Dallas and NO in the Playoffs......BUT,

when he does not have a stellar OLine protecting him???
