With Talib injured, and Marcus Peters and Talib in final years of contracts, the Rams' trade deadline interest in CB Jalen Ramsey would seem to be amplified.

All salary cap issues aside, Ramsey would be better than any CB the Rams have had lately. From that standpoint alone, you'd have to be interested.

That's exactly what my comment was, yes. Interest in the player would be there. Willingness to do a deal? Not so much.

Salary cap is the issue, but Ramsey is a proven star in the NFL. Draft picks are a crap shoot, no matter how high.

His current contract is manageable. Its his future that is the issue.

I wonder if this will be the first documented case of Gary Klein having some inside info and subtly letting us know about it?
