thought that was a god question....

personally i think it contributed to his harassment but i also think the rams passing game often asks that of the qb, to wait for the long developing routes to develop, and the rams hi-lo concepts also contribute to it, by the time a qb's done with the first (deeper) read the pressure clock has taken a hit... as far as the fumble is concerned, it seemed that demby just called it quits after x seconds while onyemata kept his motor going:

No, but it’s too early to say that this OL won’t be able to do a better job of keeping Goff from getting hit.

We play in Cleveland next Sunday. They have Myles Garrett.

...who will be blocked by Whitworth and Havenstein, both of whom were starters for the Rams all of last year.

If he hurts Goff, I will be very upset. And I’m gonna blame some of the people responsible for our OL.

Okay...if that makes you feel better.

Second, it’s WAAAAAAAAAY to early to draw conclusions.

exactly

pff doesn't know the exact blocking assignments for the Rams playbook or what is audibled...

they are guessing

I'm quite certain the Rams grades are rather different most of the time than the PFF grades

Goff is getting too much pressure.

Teams don't have to worry about Gurley as much and the play action is a little harder to set up

That aside, I will not be the one to break the piece...

So let me get this straight, the Rams 1st rounders 2016-2018 were spent on obtaining Jared Goff and Brandin Cooks. Max, are you actually suggesting that they should have invested in o-line with those picks instead?
The Rams were in the Super Bowl last year largely due to the efforts of those two if I remember correctly
Talk about what have you done for me lately....

When the Rams won the Super Bowl in 1999, they had an OL consisting of a 1st round pick (Pace), a 5th (Miller), two 7ths (Timmerman, Nutten), and a UFA (Gruttadauria).

Just sayin’
