love faulk to death, probably always will, but he said some pretty weird things in that interview imo.

for example when talking about jones's "zeke who?" comment he launched into:

"when you're the owner of men, you can say that, people accept that, it's ok... when you're the owner of men, you can say those things, you're allowed to, you actually think it's ok and that it's acceptable..."

and then he all but said that luck gets an unfair advantage because he's white, as opposed to a guy like rg3 who has also been hurt a lot, but unlike luck rg3 doesn't get the same shots, the same advantages, the same treatment.

and his le'veon bell analogy, claiming that it's an example of what happens to a team that doesn't pony up, that the steelers replaced bell with a "serviceable back" in conner and as a result missed the playoffs... thing is the steelers scored more offensive points without bell in 2018 than they did with bell in 2017, they missed the playoffs in large part because their defense took a nosedive in 2018, dropped from 8th best in offensive points allowed in 2017 to 18th in 2018... faulk also blamed conner for not being "available" when he missed two games because of injury, yet bell missed a whopping 15 games in his final three years with the steelers.

anyway, love marshall, but some strange takes in that interview imo.

My wife got to shake Marshall Faulk's hand tonight at a charity event. Per her description:
-looks like he's lost some weight. It's pronounced in his legs/lower body.
-his wingmen looked to all be cops or military types with crewcuts and serious looks
-Faulk was wearing his Super Bowl ring
-his female companion was wearing a tiny dress but too much makeup
-he was double fisting vodka cranberries
Probably the only reason they got close was my wife's friend has had a healthy dose of recent aftermarket enhancements.
