We have that luxury with Weddle and Johnson at safety.I hadn't really thought about their similarities until after the draft. I think most of us envisioned him as a safety to take over when Weddle retires ( which could easily happen) but I'd bet Wade is looking at different ways to play him closer to the LOS this year. by phoenixrising 4 years 10 months ago Total posts: 816 Joined: Aug 05 2016 Arroyo Grande, CA Veteran Rookies--(when Mark Barron was at combine) 6'1" 214 lbs= Taylor Rapp 5'11 3/4 208 lbs POST #2 safer wrote:Meet our new, most versatile D player--Taylor Rapp.I'd bet money we use him in a lot of our sub packages, and maybe even more, much like we did Mark Barron. I don't expect the Rams to use him like Barron, but who knows? I'd like to think the Rams will shore up the run defense on early downs.
