Stafford is the best QB in the NFC. With him we have a shot at the SB. Without him, we don’t make the playoffs. I have no idea what the Rams would do if Stafford left after this year. Praying for a QB miracle might be a consideration. Be careful what you wish for.
I was generally happy with our draft. Only caveat is not addressing CB, and to a lesser degree OT earlier. It’s hard to win a SB without good corners. Not sure we have that yet. Very nice to likely ridding ourselves of the angst of missing FGs and PATs. Worth the 6th rounder, for sure.
They must love him since they didn’t trade down. Snead can’t help trading down if he has even the slightest reason to do so. I hated the idea of drafting a TE with our first pick. I’ve seen too many high pick TEs become regret picks. The list is long.
I have a hard time believing that under the right circumstances AD still won’t come back this year. Imagine we’re in contention for the #1 seed, and Stafford is lightning it up, and all we need is one elite player on D to be the favorites in the NFC to get to the SB. We just need AD for 5 games. Tha...
I remember when he was drafted in 2014, I was actually at that draft in NYC. Of course, AD wasn’t there, so there was just a simple announcement at pick 13. I was sitting with a young Rams draftnik who was getting all the picks before they were announced. When he got the AD pick he turned to me and ...
To me, the most revealing part of the OT decision was the difference between how Reid handled it compared to Shanahan. Chiefs players all seemed to be well aware of the new rule and how they were going to approach it in OT. The niners players, OTOH, seems in the dark about how Shanahan was going to ...
Dumb decisions passing on the FGs but that's how he played it all year. If Reynolds doesn't drop the first one the entire outcome might have been different. Now onto the SB. What's the over/under on: KC yardage on the ground? 150? 160? I'll take the over. Purdy getting picked? 2? 3 times? I can’t f...
Can't believe Niners are favored. I'll be rooting for the Chiefs, of course, but really thought they'd be the favorite. The Niners have shown against GB and Detroit how vulnerable they are. This is not one of their better defenses and the offense has issues too. KC does have one of their best Mahom...

I assume everyone here will be rooting for the Chiefs to beat the Niners. I expect Mahomes to outclass Purdy. And win comfortably.
