What I like is after the bye we play all the good teams at SoFi except for that TNF game in SF. I also like having last 2 games at home. That’s usually a big deal for playoff implications. If we beat Detroit, I think that will set the tone for our playoff situation. Having the tiebreaker over the Li...
Whitworth and Goff were buds. Kupp and Goff were buds. It would be very hard to believe that ANYBODY was as disgusted with Goff as McVay was. Totally agree. I believe McVay was responsible for a lot of Goff’s problems. He stuck him with a subpar OL, and had little patience with Goff who was still n...
Starting Wolford over Goff was all about McVay not wanting anything to do with Goff regardless of the fact that Goff was/is clearly the better QB. I wonder how guys like Whitworth and Kupp felt about it. I can’t believe they felt Wolford gave them the best chance to win.
Since I didn’t see it posted here, we play these teams in 2024… (NFC West) twice Arizona Cardinals San Francisco 49ers Seattle Seahawks Conference opponents Green Bay Packers Minnesota Vikings Chicago Bears Detroit Lions Philadelphia Eagles New Orleans Saints Interconference opponents Buffalo Bills ...
Rams get 6th, Texans get 7th https://twitter.com/AaronWilson_NFL/status/1788645583458074818 And according to this, 7th Rams are giving up was a conditional pick they didn't end up sending in Akers trade: https://twitter.com/nickkorte/status/1788641883042025564 Thanks. Some reporters are better than...
So who gets the 6th rounder and who gets the 7th?It’s not clear to me.
Here’s what crazy about the athletic. They have a podcast called the athletic football show hosted by this guy Robert Mays. On the podcast they laughed at the Rams for the Fiske trade and added that the Rams don’t do their homework on the players. I wonder if Jourdan talks to these podcast guys.
Stafford is the best QB in the NFC. With him we have a shot at the SB. Without him, we don’t make the playoffs. I have no idea what the Rams would do if Stafford left after this year. Praying for a QB miracle might be a consideration. Be careful what you wish for.
I was generally happy with our draft. Only caveat is not addressing CB, and to a lesser degree OT earlier. It’s hard to win a SB without good corners. Not sure we have that yet. Very nice to likely ridding ourselves of the angst of missing FGs and PATs. Worth the 6th rounder, for sure.
They must love him since they didn’t trade down. Snead can’t help trading down if he has even the slightest reason to do so. I hated the idea of drafting a TE with our first pick. I’ve seen too many high pick TEs become regret picks. The list is long.
