We ride or die with Goff. Have Bortles and Wolford. Wouldn’t waste a 7th rd pick on a QB. If Goff fails, shit can it all and start over. Otherwise, assume he’s the guys and build around him. We don’t have the draft capital to waste on a what if mid round QB. Waste of time and pick. IMO. We need OL a...

Jeez, their fans are a lot more confident in the Rams than I am. Do they not know about our line? I'm worried we won't get past single digit score and be kept under 200 total yards. Or worse. Either you are right and we MIGHT see some small, incremental improvement despite the score. Or, somehow th...

The way this season is going we will win 16-13 Sunday and lose to the Ravens 41-36... No kidding eh. But the Ravens have a good D and Marcus Peters has to be salivating at the thought of going pick 6 on Goff. I think they will hand us our worst loss of the McVay era. And it will be by 3 tds +. It w...

Hmm. Well, other than the Saints game and to a lesser degree, the Hawks game, the Rams have not looked very good this season. I am starting to think the D might now be getting really good. Too bad the O is so stagnant. The Ravens look like a team we have zero chance of beating. However, I don’t see ...

Who's going to stop Mack? Early in the game I would line Everett in the slot to Mack’s side, motion him and run toss-crack with Everett straight earholing Mack. Then, boot-action away from him. Give the OT help with Higbee often. Run slants right behind him And screens off oh him. That will give hi...

And, all of my above statement must take into consideration what McVay feels comfortable calling with the limitations of the current o line AND, what he thinks will work against the down and distance defensive tendencies his opponent - the Bears next - have shown.

Typically, you game plan against what a team has shown you over their past 4 games. Smart game planners look at how the team they are preparing for game planed and what they ran against teams that run systems similar to their own. You don’t just say hey, were going to go to a short passing game or r...

Don’t get into 3rd and 8 to begin with.

I'm not a big proponent in the "coaching up" thing. We need talent. Summed up my point, with a lot less words. Lol. The ol can’t make chicken soup outta chicken shit. But, coaching as far as game plan/play calling DOES have a big effect on helping whatever OL bodies we trot out there.
