Higher 2nd. I don't see any chance of that. Given that he has 2 years left on a value-priced contract, I could see a third round pick. I've mentioned that the Rams will have a dilemna when Woods/Kupp contracts come due. Woods may cost 12-14 mil/yr to sign in today's dollars. Why not keep him for a ...

Yeah, I alluded to that, but I think that's outside his comfort zone. And being 6-6, it's tough to get the leverage.

Not understanding this. A FB? For what purpose? Pass blocking? Don’t understand what a FB does other than take the place of a contributing player, either 3rd WR or 2nd TE A FB can do things TE's can't, like iso on a LB (unless the TE lines up as FB). Maybe not too useful on zone stretch runs, but a...

I don't subscribe to this at all. The problem with our TE's is scheme and play calling, not talent. Had McVay used them/went more 12-personnel, we probably win the SB. Both have developed nicely and Everett has insane potential. Doesn't talent dictate playcalling? McVay is not averse to throwing to...

I'm a bit surprised that he played 34% of definsive snaps. I'd like to see him back next year.

I was pretty skeptical about Allen regarding his size. Still am. But from what little I saw, he seemed to be able to anchor against some much larger DT's. I think Kromer likes Centers that are quick enough to get around and set an edge rather than plow horses.

I would beg to differ just a bit. The "free agent route" is costly, particularly for the guys like Suh and Whitworth because you're paying a premium on premium talent. But guys like Cooks, Talib and Peters were not free agents but rather trades for which we gave up draft picks. In Cooks c...

I was in the "Barron's gone" camp... until the playoffs. I don't know if it was a matter of getting healthy, or what... but the guy was balling in the playoffs. There's no other LB on the roster with his ability to go sideline to sideline and that's not easy or cheap to find on the market...
