As for Dotson, what about Anchrum who backs him up? I read several posts here about how good he was in camp last year. What I read then sounded like he was a serious contender to start at RG. Very similar, low, muscular build as Dotson, maybe the deciding factor will be the "x" dollar poin...
Didn't know about the baseball stunt, but I still found peter to be one who actually did seem to seek out the truth (as he saw it) but I still found him to be relevant, thou he was definitely old school.
The guy had a roller coaster year, but they were way too dependent on their passing game. He led the NFL in both sacks and picks....but he did throw for almost 4,000yds; and was a rook this year; their Oline sucked; he's got a very strong arm and he's tough. They drafted him in the 5th round last ye...
Good signing. He deserves this.
Jackie was THE best RT I ever saw play in the NFL.
As for any challenge to wait til after June 1 to cut Noteboom, it would be easy for us to get one of our big three to do a minor restructure to their contract, creating room for us to sign another FA before June 1st. What we save from Note should pay for Dotson.
When drafting Avila, it was said he could play either spot. I hope we resign Shelton due to his versatility.
It was said that Avila might be oved to quality center when he was drafted. Stud OG's can be found in the 2nd round. I'd bet we do sign Shelton because of his versatility.
I see this draft as MUCH different than last year's in that we filled so many holes in our lineups. Wide out, NT, and much of Oline we got. I would be in favor of us trading UP to get a couple of superior talents, if we see them in positions of need. It's highly unusual for a center to be taken so e...
PARam--I went on Google to find our cap space and the site shows how much dead money we would have on a cut before and after June 1st. Note counts $20mil this year against our cap, but with the June cut we'd only have a $5mil dead money hit this year! We are probably gonna ride with Stafford, Coop a...
